This Credit Usage Policy ("Policy") governs the purchase, allocation, and use of Credits on the Imentiv AI platform ("Platform") operated by Imentiv AI ("Imentiv," "we," "us," or "our").

By purchasing, receiving, or using Credits, you agree to this Policy in addition to our Terms of Service.

1. Overview of Credits

Credits are prepaid usage units required to access analysis services on the Platform.

Credits may be used for processing and analyzing content through Imentiv's artificial intelligence systems, including video, audio, image, text, and related behavioral insight features.

Credits:

  • Do not constitute stored monetary value.
  • Are not prepaid financial instruments.
  • Are not personal property.
  • Are non-transferable.
  • Are non-redeemable for cash.

Credits are consumed upon initiation of a Processing Event (as defined below).

2. Credit Consumption Model

2.1 General Principle

Credits are deducted based on computational resources, processing complexity, analytical depth, and optional feature selection. Consumption rates may vary by modality and analysis type.

Specific rates are displayed within the Platform dashboard, pricing documentation, or Enterprise agreement and may be updated in accordance with Section 11.

2.2 Core Analysis

Core analysis includes:

  • Video Emotion Analysis - Calculated based on processed duration and/or frame count.
  • Audio Emotion Analysis - Calculated based on processed duration.
  • Image Emotion Detection - Calculated per processed image.
  • Text Emotion Analysis - Calculated based on word or character count.
  • API-Based Processing - Calculated per request and/or processing volume.
  • Batch Processing - Calculated based on total content processed in a batch job.

Processing may be rounded up to the nearest billing unit (e.g., per minute or per defined computational interval). A minimum charge may apply per processing job.

2.3 Advanced Insights

Advanced features require prior core analysis and consume additional Credits beyond base processing:

  • Personality Analysis - Behavioral and personality trait inference derived from processed content.
  • Emotion Highlights - Automated detection of emotional peaks, transitions, and significant moments.
  • LLM-Based AI Insight Generation - AI-generated summaries, interpretations, or contextual emotional insights.

LLM-based AI insight generation may consume additional Credits depending on processing length, token usage, or insight complexity as determined by Imentiv's current pricing structure.

2.4 Human-In-The-Loop Services

Psychologist Review - Optional human expert evaluation and qualitative interpretation of emotional outputs.

Psychologist Review consumes additional Credits and may follow a separate pricing structure as defined on the Platform or in Enterprise agreements.

3. Current Credit Consumption Rates

The following rates apply to standard Web Platform and API usage at the time of publication. Rates may be modified pursuant to Section 12.

3.1 Web Platform Pricing

Core Analysis

  • Video - 1 Credit per second
  • Audio - 0.5 Credits per second
  • Image - 10 Credits per image
  • Text - 2 Credits per 100 words

Advanced Insights

  • Personality Analysis - 25 Credits per minute

  • Emotion Highlights - 10 Credits per minute
    The first request per account is free.

Human-In-The-Loop Services

  • Psychologist Review - 50 Credits per minute
    The first request per account is free.

3.2 API Pricing

API pricing reflects integration-based usage and does not include certain managed platform tools available in the Web Platform.

Core Analysis

  • Video (API) - 0.5 Credits per second
  • Audio (API) - 0.25 Credits per second
  • Image (API) - 5 Credits per image
  • Text (API) - 1 Credit per 100 words

Advanced Insights

  • Personality Analysis (API) - 15 Credits per minute

  • Emotion Highlights (API) - 5 Credits per minute
    The first request per account is free.

Human-In-The-Loop Services

  • Psychologist Review (API) - 25 Credits per minute
    The first request per account is free.

3.3 Billing & Rounding Rules

  • Per-second and per-minute calculations are rounded up to the nearest full second or minute.
  • Word-based calculations are rounded up to the nearest 100-word unit.
  • "First request free" applies once per account per feature type and may be subject to reasonable usage limitations.

4. When Credits Are Deducted

Credits are deducted when processing begins.

If processing fails due to a verified internal system error, Imentiv may restore Credits at its discretion.

Credits will not be refunded for:

  • User-initiated cancellations after processing has begun
  • Completed Processing Events

5. Re-Processing & Re-Analysis

Submitting the same content for analysis again constitutes a new Processing Event and consumes additional Credits.

This includes:

  • Re-running analysis with updated settings
  • Switching models
  • Regenerating AI-generated insights
  • Re-processing via API

Any modification requiring re-computation of results constitutes a new Processing Event.

Exporting, downloading, or reformatting previously generated outputs that do not require re-computation does not consume additional Credits.

6. Credit Types & Expiration

Credit validity depends on how Credits are issued.

6.1 Purchased (Top-Up) Credits

Purchased Credits:

  • Do not expire.
  • Remain valid indefinitely while the account remains active and in good standing.
  • Are forfeited upon account deletion.
  • Are non-transferable and non-refundable once consumed.

6.2 Professional Plan – Monthly Allocated Credits

Professional Plan subscribers receive 12,000 complimentary Credits per billing month.

These Credits:

  • Are added at the beginning of each billing cycle.
  • May roll over and accumulate across billing cycles while the subscription remains active and in good standing.
  • Do not expire as long as the subscription remains active.
  • Are forfeited upon cancellation or termination of the subscription at the end of the current billing period.

6.3 Enterprise Plan – Contract-Based Allocation

Enterprise customers may receive a custom allocation of Credits annually or per defined billing cycle as specified in their Master Service Agreement (MSA) or contract.

Enterprise-allocated Credits:

  • Expire at the end of the defined billing cycle unless otherwise stated.
  • Do not roll over unless explicitly agreed.
  • May be governed by additional contractual usage terms.

In the event of conflict between this Policy and a signed Enterprise agreement, the Enterprise agreement shall govern.

6.4 Order of Credit Consumption

Unless otherwise specified in an Enterprise agreement, Credits are deducted in the following order:

  1. Monthly or billing-cycle allocated Credits
  2. Promotional or bonus Credits (if applicable)
  3. Purchased (Top-Up) Credits

This ensures expiring Credits are consumed before non-expiring Credits.

7. Account Deletion & Suspension

If a user voluntarily deletes their account:

  • All unused Credits are permanently forfeited.
  • Credits cannot be transferred to another account.

If an account is suspended or terminated due to violation of Terms of Service or Fair Use:

  • Imentiv may revoke unused Credits.
  • No refunds will be issued for revoked Credits.

8. API Usage & Rate Limits

API usage is subject to:

  • Rate limits
  • Concurrency limits
  • File size restrictions
  • Fair usage thresholds

Exceeding limits may result in throttling, delayed processing, or temporary suspension.

All API usage consumes Credits.

9. Fair Use & Prohibited Conduct

Users may not:

  • Reverse engineer Imentiv models or systems
  • Attempt to replicate model architecture
  • Resell raw outputs without authorization
  • Conduct automated scraping or abuse system resources
  • Circumvent rate limits
  • Systematically extract outputs to train competing models
  • Attempt dataset reconstruction or model output harvesting

Violations may result in suspension or termination without refund.

10. Transparency & Usage Reporting

Users may access:

  • Real-time credit balance
  • Usage history
  • API logs
  • Downloadable reports

Usage data displayed in dashboards is provided for informational purposes and may be subject to minor technical variance.

11. Refund Policy

Credits:

  • Have no cash value
  • Are non-transferable
  • Are non-refundable once consumed

Refunds may be issued only in cases of:

  • Verified duplicate billing
  • Confirmed internal system error
  • Legal requirement

Refund requests must be submitted within 30 calendar days of the relevant Processing Event.

12. Modifications to Credit Rates

Imentiv may update:

  • Credit consumption rates
  • Billing units
  • Processing categories
  • Feature pricing

Changes will not apply retroactively to completed Processing Events.

Material changes will be communicated via dashboard notice or email.

Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

13. Definitions

  • Credit - A prepaid usage unit required to process content.
  • Processing Event - Initiation of computational analysis of submitted content.
  • Core Analysis - Base AI processing of video, audio, image, or text.
  • Advanced Insights - Additional inference layers built upon Core Analysis.
  • Analysis Job - A single submitted processing request.
  • Workspace - Organizational account environment.
  • API Call - A request made to the Imentiv API.
