Mindfulness

Mindfulness is the practice of intentionally bringing attention to the present moment with openness and without judgment. It involves observing thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations as they arise, allowing the mind to slow down and disengage from automatic reactions. By grounding awareness in the here and now, mindfulness helps regulate emotions, reduce stress, and cultivate a steadier, more resilient sense of mental clarity and balance.

It deepens emotional granularity, the ability to notice subtle shifts between stress, restlessness, fatigue, or tension, and supports cognitive flexibility, healthier behavioural choices, and improved coping in daily life. Over time, it enhances self-awareness by teaching individuals to witness internal experiences rather than be overwhelmed by them.
